Ok, so the day after my previous post, Pulte Homes sent out a painter to clean up the previous painters spilled paint on my Pulte Homes’ front porch. The previous painter had attempted to clean up his spill on my Pulte homes front porch but only managed to smear it all over the place. Since Pulte Homes decided to take a couple of weeks to clean up the mess after me notifying them, I figured it only fair I take just as long to update this post.
Well, it’s been over two weeks since I reported a big blotch of paint on my Pulte Homes porch that was left there by a previous repair to my Pulte Home. And it has yet to be fixed/cleaned up. This is what I don’t understand about Pulte Homes customer service. Something so simple and Pulte Homes just lets it linger and linger……..
Well, the roofer came out today from Town and Country roofing. Knocked on the door, explained what he was going to do and went to work. A couple of hours later, my roof was fixed. Whoo hoo. Tomorrow, the plumber is supposed to come out and fix the leak at the kitchen sink in my Pulte Home. And I’m still waiting for them to come fix the smeared paint on my front porch of my Pulte Home. No word when that will be taken care of yet…..
Yes, another delay in repairing my Pulte Home. However, this time, it is completely my choice. The roofing company sent out someone to repair the latest issue with my Pulte Homes roof (read previous post). After watching him for about 5 minutes, I could tell he didn’t have too much experience with roof repair. He was a very nice and friendly guy and was probably a great roofer, but that doesn’t make him a great roof troubleshooter/fixer/repairer. So, I contacted the roofing company and told them to send out a previous roofer who they’d sent out. HE knows what he’s doing and talking about. So the day after Pulte Homes sent out their representative, Pulte Homes sent out the roofing company to repair my roof. And, the Pulte Homes representative also scheduled a repairman to come fix the leak in the kitchen sink for next Thursday, just as my wife requested. And, someone is supposed to come clean up where some previous painters spilled some paint on my front porch. They tried to clean up where they spilled the paint on my Pulte Homes front porch but just managed to smear it all over my front porch. So now I have smeared white paint on the floor of my tan colored porch on my new Pulte Home.
Well, after the gutter was replaced on my Pulte Home, another issue was uncovered. I was looking at the roof and noticed that the roof bowed up in a certain section. After noticing it, I immediately called the roofing company and explained the issue. They sent a professional who assessed and explained the situation. Apparently when my Pulte Home was built, the roof was put on a little off which causes an upward bow in it. The roofing company told me they could fix it but that Pulte Homes would have to place the order for it. I contacted Pulte Homes representative regarding the issue and he came out the next day. After viewing the roof himself yesterday, he agreed with the roofing company’s assessment and said he would call the roofing company so they could come out and fix it. And, my wife found a leak in the sink in our new Pulte Home and contacted the representative about it. He came out and we weren’t sure where it was leaking from so when my wife came home she placed some paper towels around the sink area and found where it was leaking from. She said she would like to be present when they come to repair the issue in our Pulte Home so hopefully that will happen next Thursday as she requested. Stay tuned….
So, after my previous post, Pulte Homes sent out a roofer the next day, first thing in the morning. He removed the shingles necessary to replace the gutter. A couple of hours later, Pulte Homes sent out the gutter guys who proceeded to completely replace the gutter. In the afternoon, we had a painter show up to paint and color match the new gutter. And, as he was leaving, a roofer returned to replace the tiles that had been removed earlier. All in one day. Now that is what I call customer service. And, I would like to thank all the people that made it possible to accomplish this. Thank you.
